What Is SkinVive?

SkinVive Injectable Hydrator is a first-of-its-kind treatment from the makers of Juvéderm. Unlike fillers or neuromodulators, SkinVive is a microdroplet hyaluronic acid treatment designed to improve skin smoothness, texture, and hydration – without adding volume or changing facial contours.

Refresh Tired, Dull Skin

Approved by Health Canada and FDA, SkinVive is injected superficially into the face and neck to help:

  • Improve skin texture and hydration
  • Increase light reflection and natural glow
  • Reduce the look of roughness or dullness

Results typically last 6 to 9 months.

Questions & Answers

Is SkinVive a filler?

No. While it uses hyaluronic acid (like many fillers), SkinVive does not add volume or change your face shape. It’s designed to hydrate and smooth the skin. Think of it as an injectable moisturizer.

What areas can be treated with SkinVive?

SkinVive can be used on the cheeks, forehead, and neck. It targets fine lines and improves hydration in these areas by delivering hyaluronic acid just beneath the skin’s surface.

How long do results last?

Most patients see results lasting 6 to 9 months. A touch-up may be recommended once or twice a year.

How long is the appointment?

Patients should plan to be in the clinic for approximately two hours. This includes one full hour of topical numbing before the treatment itself.

Does it hurt?

SkinVive is formulated with lidocaine, and the numbing step helps ensure a more comfortable experience. Most patients describe the treatment as quick and easily tolerable.

Is there downtime?

Downtime is minimal. Some patients experience slight redness, swelling, or pinpoint bruising, typically resolving within 24–48 hours.

Is SkinVive right for me?

SkinVive is ideal for patients who want smoother, more hydrated skin without added volume. It’s a great option for addressing dullness, rough texture, and early fine lines, especially in the cheeks, forehead, or neck.
